Does this sound like you?
You feel anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself
You put others first and find it hard to prioritize or communicate your needs
You struggle with making decisions or overthinking
Your feelings and emotions are close by, but you’re unsure how to navigate them
You’ve felt misunderstood by others for your sensitive nature or your chronic health conditions
You know yourself well, but still feel lost
It’s easy to find yourself overwhelmed by the expectations of others, society, or your own inner critic. It can feel exhausting overriding your true needs to take care of what’s in front of you. Your strong feelings and deep thoughts pull you different directions, making it hard to find your center. You wish you could slow down, find a sense of calm, and understand the messages your mind and body are trying to convey.
It’s possible to befriend your emotions, clarify your desires, and prioritize your needs, as you find your way back to yourself. Together, we’ll help you grow compassion and acceptance for yourself amidst the noise of the world, providing you with relief from anxiety, overwhelm, and self-doubt.
By harnessing the mind-body connection and fostering emotional awareness, you can discover groundedness, clarity, and confidence. This inner wisdom will guide you in the ways you want to adjust your life to both honor and take care of yourself.
Hi, I’m Allie.
I’m a licensed psychotherapist and social worker based in Somerville, Massachusetts.
